The Versa™ Series of bacopa was selected for a more upright habit specifically for quart and 4-in. (10-cm) pot production. This semi-upright sutera habit does not tangle when grown pot-tight in a quart. This highquality, non-tangling series will provide better sell-through at retail. In addition, Versa’s upright habit hides older flowers better than other varieties and has more flower cover in a smaller container.

North Region

Versa varieties were selected for their reduced need for PGRs. We found in trials that an early Cycocel 750 ppm spray application approximately 2 weeks after transplant or Bonzi 3 ppm drench 4 weeks after transplant are options that work well.

South Region

Versa Bacopa did not need PGR treatments when average daily temperatures (ADT) were kept at 50°F (10°C) or lower.
