Product Launch and Assortment Manager

I am so excited to bring you Firehouse, a true game-changer in the medium-vigor verbena class. We put a stop to verbenas cycling out of color in baskets and combos.

Midwest, Canada and Northeast Region

An application of Florel at 300 ppm 2 weeks after transplant produces tighter, more toned gallons. A Bonzi 1 ppm drench can be helpful 3 to 4 weeks prior to shipping product, especially if greenhouse temperatures increase rapidly.

West Region

To finish Firehouse, use B-Nine 2,500/Cycocel 750 ppm spray applications 2 weeks after transplant. NEW Firehouse Light Pink, pictured below, was treated with B-Nine/ Cycocel 750 ppm spray in California trials.

South and Southeast Region

Firehouse starts with good liner production, and it is recommended to tone liners with B-Nine 2,500 ppm or a very light Bonzi spray of 0.5-1 ppm. An application of Florel at 300 ppm 2 weeks after transplant produces tighter, more toned gallons.
