Landmark Best Practices

The Landmark Series is our top pick for the landscape and onegallon lantana production. We have exciting new propagation techniques to help you be successful from stick to finish!

Florel 500 ppm

North Region

The best treatment for the Landmark varieties in propagation was the Florel 300 ppm/Configure 75 ppm treatment. We used two applications – the first as a spray 28 days after stick, and the second 1 week after transplant. We did not need additional PGRs in our trial. If you require a more compact habit, apply B-Nine 5,000 ppm tank mix with Cycocel 1,000 ppm as a spray 2-4 weeks after transplant.

South Region

The best treatment for the Landmark varieties in this region in propagation was the Florel 500 ppm treatment. We used two applications – the first as a spray 21 days after stick, and the second 3 weeks after transplant. We did not need additional PGRs in our trials because finishing can be done outside at lower average daily temperatures.
