FlameThrower coleus are naturally compact. Growing them is a breeze, especially when you follow the regional culture recommendations below that I’ve been working on.

Western Region

While a pinch will always benefit a coleus crop, we have new research that shows FlameThrower is successful with no pinch and no PGR for a target week 15 finish.

Midwest, Canada and Northeast Region

Our latest culture trial study in the Midwest proved that FlameThrower can be grown with no pinch and no PGR for a week 18 target date.

South and Southeast Region

After extensive trials, our recommendation is that pinch is recommended, as it eliminates the need for PGR in most growing conditions.
